We had a cold snap today in Melbourne, which made me thankful for setting up my ‘shoulder season’ capsule in my wardrobe. It also made me think about wearing scarves again. I usually don’t wear scarves in summer, which is a shame because they can really change up an outfit and add some colour and interest.
Since my decluttering, I have organised my scarves so they are all folded and visible in the drawer:
My favourite scarves are generally made of silk or fine wool as they’re comfortable and breathable. Square scarves are really versatile and I often refer to Hermès for interesting ideas on how to wear them. Hermès has a silk knots app that includes how-to videos. There are loads of other tutorials out there and I have curated my favourites for square scarf tying on Pinterest.
